1962 marked the formation of the Sierra Kings Hospital Auxiliary. Conceived by and composed of dedicated women and men, the Auxiliary supports hospital services and raises money for special hospital projects.

Auxiliary members give nearly 10,000 volunteer hours every year. They participate in the community health education projects and coordinate mobile blood drawings. They conduct hospital tours for local kindergartners and staff the lobby information desk.

You can find them working in the birthing center, kitchen, and medical/surgical areas. They support hospital disaster calls, assist in business offices, assemble packs for various hospital departments, and raise funds for patient related needs. They also simply take the time to visit with our patients.

Auxiliary working hours are flexible with a recommendation of 25 hours per year for active membership. The dues are $10.00 per year for active or sustaining membership.
