Hospital Accreditation
Sierra Kings Healthcare District is proud to be fully accredited by Det Norske Veritas (DNV). The accreditation surveys take place annually, and are unannounced. The purpose of the surveys is to evaluate the organization’s compliance with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS). The survey results are used to determine ongoing accreditation within the organization. The DNV standards deal with the organizational quality, safety-of-care issues, and the safety of the environment in which care is provided.

If you or a family member needs assistance during your hospitalization, please call our Chief Nursing Officer at 559-638-8155 Extension 2800. The Chief Nursing Officer is also available to assist patients, family members and friends with non-medical questions or concerns related to outpatient visits or hospital stays.

Concerns
We encourage you to contact us if you have any questions or concerns regarding patient care and treatment of you or a loved one. If you are still dissatisfied, you may request a Grievance Committee review of your concerns. Following any Grievance Committee’s review, a written response would then be sent to you containing the final determinations and findings of the Grievance Committee. If you are unhappy with how your complaint is being resolved by the hospital you also have the right to bring the complaint to the DNV Healthcare or the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid.
